Ujjain, May 28 -- Amidst intense political turmoil and an imminent leadership change in Karnataka, Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot on Thursday suddenly arrived at his hometown, Nagda, in Madhya Pradesh.

According to sources, Gehlot travelled to Nagda due to the ill health of his wife.

The visit has drawn attention as the current political atmosphere in Karnataka has intensified with the transition in the chief ministerial position set to take place in the coming days.
