Tadepalli, April 3 -- Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) on Friday asserted that the contrast in cost, structure and convenience is being widely debated, terming Amaravati as a never-ending saga and the proposal of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's Mavigun a practical approach which caught the imagination of people.

Speaking to the media, former Minister Ambati Rambabu said, "Amaravati is a greenfield project where everything has to be developed from scratch, while Mavigun, covering Machilipatnam, Vijayawada and Guntur, has existing infrastructure which has a faster rate of growth potential."

"The state cannot afford Rs 2 lakh crore for a city, putting other regions, development and welfare at risk.
