Shimla, Sept. 19 -- Amid media reports circulating on various social media platforms regarding cracks reportedly observed in certain buildings in the Sanjauli area and attributing the same to tunnel construction works under the Shimla Bypass Project, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has clarified that all necessary precautions have been undertaken during project execution in accordance with established engineering practices and in consultation with the concerned residents.

According to a release, NHAI proactively carried out required rectification and remedial measures at the affected locations.
