Ujjain, April 1 -- Actor Akshay Kumar visited the Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain early Wednesday morning to offer prayers ahead of the release of his upcoming film 'Bhooth Bangla'.

Akshay was accompanied by his mother-in-law and veteran actress Dimple Kapadia during the visit.

Soon after offering prayers, Akshay spoke to ANI about his visit and shared that he prayed not just for himself but for the entire country and his loved ones.

"It was really good... I prayed for the entire country and my family. I prayed that our country may always excel and progress," he told ANI.
