New Delhi, March 24 -- All India Distillers' Association has requested the government to enable the commercial rollout of flex-fuel vehicles as domestic automakers are ready with prototypes but require policy support and incentives to scale adoption, AIDA President Vijendra Singh said today.

The request from the industry came in the backdrop of soaring crude oil prices in the global markets following tensions getting escalated in the Middle East recently, which is hampering the smooth supplies of the fossil fuel across the globe.
