New Delhi, July 20 -- Over a year after the tragic crash of Air India flight AI-171 in Ahmedabad, Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol confirmed that while a preliminary report was published by the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) on July 12, a final investigation report is awaited as probe is on.

In response to a question by CPI(M) MP John Brittas, Mohol told the Rajya Sabha that the final investigation report will be published after completion of the investigation.
