New Delhi, April 1 -- Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) added 5,051 megawatts (MW) of renewable energy capacity in the financial year 2025-26. This milestone represents the highest greenfield annual capacity expansion globally by any company, excluding China, as per an Adani media release. The addition has increased the company's total operational portfolio to 19.3 gigawatts (GW), reinforcing its market position in India's renewable sector.
The capacity added during the fiscal year includes 3,409 MW of solar, 686 MW of wind, and 956 MW of wind-solar hybrid capacity.
