Active dengue cases 50 per cent lower than last year in West Bengal: CM Suvendu Adhikari
Kolkata, Sept. 1 -- West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari on Tuesday underlined that there are 50 per cent fewer active dengue cases across the State compared to the corresponding period last year.
Addressing a press conference in West Bengal, Adhikari noted that while the State had recorded over 7,600 active dengue cases around this time last year, the numbers have dropped significantly.
However, he pointed out that Murshidabad and Nadia remain the primary districts where multiple cases are being reported.
