Hyderabad, May 22 -- Abhishek Sharma, Heinrich Klaasen and Ishan Kishan became only the second batting trio to register 500-plus runs in a single Indian Premier League (IPL) season from a single team.

Abhishek, Klaasen and Kishan achieved this record for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) against defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB).

In the match, Abhishek started off with a brutal 22-ball 56, with four boundaries and five sixes at a strike rate of 254.55. Later, Kishan (79 in 46 balls, with eight fours and three sixes) and Klaasen (51 in 24 balls, with two sixes) put on a 113-run stand, taking SRH to 255/4 in 20 overs.
