Abdullah Azam Khan acquitted in two-passport case by court in Uttar Pradesh's Rampur
Rampur, May 29 -- In a major relief to Abdullah Azam Khan, the son of Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan, the MP/MLA Sessions court in Rampur in Uttar Pradesh on Friday quashed the seven-year sentence awarded to him in the two-passport case.
The acquittal came after Abdullah Azam challenged the seven-year sentence awarded by the MP/MLA Magistrate Court on December 5, 2025.
Hearing the appeal, the Sessions Court overturned the earlier conviction and ordered his acquittal in the matter.
Azam Khan and his son, Abdullah Azam Khan, are currently lodged in Rampur jail in connection with a separate case related to two PAN cards.
