Faridabad, June 30 -- A 28-year-old garment businessman died by suicide inside his clothing store in Sector 3, leaving behind a harrowing social media video and a suicide note that blamed continuous domestic torture, physical assault, and systemic humiliation by his wife and her family.

Following the tragedy, the Faridabad Police registered a criminal case under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) targeting eight members of the deceased's in-laws' family, all of whom have reportedly gone into hiding to evade arrest.

Police Outpost In-charge Sanjay Sharma told ANI that the deceased, identified as Rahul, was a resident of Sector 3 in Faridabad. He said Rahul had married in 2024 and ran a clothing shop.
