Siddipet, Oct. 24 -- 7 people, including 3 juveniles, were arrested in connection with a POCSO case involving the alleged rape of a minor girl in Siddipet district, police said.

According to Siddipet Police, the accused were arrested by Maddur police and remanded to judicial custody. The case was registered under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act within Maddur police station limits.

Rapid drug tests were conducted on the accused, and all results were found to be negative, police said.

Meanwhile, in Amreli, Gujarat, a government school teacher was arrested for allegedly molesting 4 girl students and raping one of them, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Rajula) Nayana Goradiya said on Saturday (17 October).
