Washington DC, June 27 -- Hollywood star Matt Damon has opened up about the demanding experience of filming Christopher Nolan's upcoming epic 'The Odyssey, 'revealing that even as the film's lead actor, he received "no special treatment" during production.

While speaking to PEOPLE magazine in an exclusive interview, Damon said the challenging shoot brought the entire cast and crew together, with everyone facing the same difficult conditions while filming on location.

"There was no special treatment," Damon said. "If you're out on a boat in the middle of the ocean and you get caught in a storm, you get wet with everybody else."
