New Delhi, Aug. 31 -- Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Monday hailed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) as a transformative breakthrough for the agricultural landscape, noting that it will increase the availability of water for irrigation to farmers of the State.

In an X post, Choudhary expressed deep gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah following the signing of a historic agreement that successfully resolved the 26-year-old Sone River water-sharing dispute between Bihar and Jharkhand.
