Siliguri, Sept. 15 -- West Bengal Minister Sankar Ghosh on Tuesday addressed the timeline for tabling of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) bill, stating that the announcement regarding its introduction in the Assembly will be made within "months or days."

Speaking to ANI, Ghosh said that discussions regarding the matter have already taken place on the floor of the Assembly.

"See, already we have discussion on this particular matter at the floor of assembly and our CM has already stated that within a month or days it will be announced by the government of West Bengal when the bill will be introduced," said Ghosh.
