Tumakuru, Sept. 16 -- Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister G Parameshwara has launched a sharp critique against the central government's execution of the caste census, questioning its framework and warning that flawed methodologies risk undermining the core objective of social justice.

Speaking on the administration of the census, Parameshwara emphasised that the primary goal of such an exercise is to ensure equitable opportunities and justice for neglected and marginalised strata of society.

"The way the central government is implementing the caste census is questionable. The main purpose is that everyone should get justice. When we do not get it, we have to raise our voice. Our duty is to provide opportunities to the neglected communities....
