New Delhi, July 24 -- Congress MP Pawan Khera on Friday questioned the Prime Minister's response on the paper leak issue, saying that statements made after several days would not address the concerns of protesting youth.

"Who is taking the Prime Minister's words seriously? Let him speak. He is responding after 22-25 days and saying strange things," Khera said.

He said the youth had taken to the streets due to genuine concerns and alleged that the Prime Minister's statement would not resolve their frustration.

"The youth are on the streets for a reason. Through such statements, the frustration of the youth is not going to end," he added.
