Patna, Aug. 4 -- Independent MP Pappu Yadav, along with members of various student organisations from Patna University, on Tuesday led a protest march towards the Bihar Chief Minister's residence, alleging police action against students in Siwan and raising other issues concerning the student community.

The protesters raised slogans against the Bihar and Central governments during the march and demanded accountability over the alleged police action against students. Security personnel were deployed in the area as the demonstrators attempted to march towards the Chief Minister's residence.
