Biswanath, April 1 -- Assam Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Dilip Saikia on Wednesday said that a massive public rally in Assam addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has garnered unprecedented support for the state's development.

He asserted that Congress always talk about protecting infiltrators and Bangladeshis while the BJP focused to remove infiltrators from the state.

Speaking to ANI about the rally, Saikia said, "The Prime Minister addressed a massive public rally here... For the first time in independent India, Assam has received such extensive support for its development. The Prime Minister's rally has reassured the public, and people have expressed their trust in Prime Minister Modi and Himanta Biswa Sarma."
