New Delhi, April 11 -- Indian tennis player Zeel Desai admitted she felt both nervous and excited ahead of her singles debut in the Billie Jean King Cup during India's Asia/Oceania Group I round-robin tie against Mongolia on Friday at the Delhi Lawn Tennis Authority Complex, and said she was relieved to have come through her match successfully.

India had a commanding outing in their Billie Jean King Cup 2026 round robin match against Mongolia on Friday, where both Zeel Desai and Sahaja Yamalapalli won by identical 6-0, 6-0 scorelines.
