Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 25 -- Former Keralam Chief Minister and State Leader of Opposition Pinarayi Vijayan on Friday demanded the removal of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and an immediate halt to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls

In a post on X, Vijayan said revelations about objections reportedly raised by two Election Commissioners over decisions related to voter registration, deletion of names and SIR had raised serious questions about the functioning of the Election Commission of India.
