Lucknow, Oct. 3 -- As political parties gear up for the high-stakes 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections, speculations of seat-sharing between the Congress and Samajwadi Party have taken centre stage.

Newly appointed UP Congress president Aradhana Mishra on Saturday said that seat-sharing will be decided by the top leadership of the INDIA bloc and its constituent parties, not at the state level.

Speaking to ANI, Mishra asserted that the Congress leadership would decide both the number of seats and the timing of any alliance.
