Jaipur, July 21 -- Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Tuesday slammed the BJP-led government, saying the opposition is fighting to save democracy.

The Congress leader said there is a lot of anger among people over the policies of the government.

"No one knows in which direction this country is heading or will head because the NDA government has adopted such a method that they do not react to it or give any statement. If opposition parties raise any demands, they do not pay attention to them either... There is a lot of anger across the country... This is a fight to save democracy," he said.
