New Delhi, Aug. 3 -- Seema Kaliramna described her bronze medal in the women's discus throw final at the Commonwealth Games 2026 as a rewarding comeback after the disappointment of returning empty-handed from the 2025 Asian Championships.

She said her focus is now on the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, scheduled to be held from September 19 to October 4, 2026, as she continues her pursuit of an Olympic podium finish.

Kaliramna received a warm welcome on Monday at Delhi Airport following her bronze medal-winning campaign at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
