Mildenhall, July 9 -- US President Donald Trump on Wednesday (local time) reiterated his claim that he played a role in stopping the India-Pakistan conflict, saying the hostilities between the two nations wound have gone "nuclear" and that millions of lives could have been lost.

Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One at RAF Mildenhall in the United Kingdom, Trump said, "Think of it, India and Pakistan. that war was raging. They were a week into it. Eleven planes were shot down, and that war was going to go nuclear."

Trump yet again claimed that he received praise from Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for former's role in "stopping the war".
