Dibrugarh, April 1 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis praised Assam's development under Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, saying the state is now unstoppable.
The polling for all 126 Assembly constituencies will be held in a single phase on April 9, while the counting of votes is scheduled for May 4.
Addressing the public meeting in Dibrugarh, the Maharashtra CM said, "I hail from the land of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, who fought against the Mughals and established 'Swarajya' (self-rule).
