"Tampering with democracy": Kharge targets EC over SIR row, asks action on pending motion to remove CEC
New Delhi, Sept. 23 -- Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Wednesday alleged that questions raised by two Election Commissioners over decisions related to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process had brought issues concerning the functioning of the Election Commission into focus, citing an Indian Express report which said that the commissioners had raised objections 14 times over a period of 10 months.
