Vellore, July 12 -- Vellore MLA Vinoth Kannan on Sunday expressed condolences to the family of a deceased in a recent boat accident near Hon May Rut Ngoai Island in Vietnam and said that the Tamil Nadu government is working to bring the body back at the earliest.

Vinoth Kannan met with the family of the deceased in Vellore.

Talking with the reporters, Vellore MLA reflected on the government's directive and communicated about the Chief Minister's commitment to assist all those affected.

He said, "We met the family of the deceased and expressed our deepest condolences. The Chief Minister has instructed officials to extend all possible assistance to those affected."
