Kalaburagi, Aug. 22 -- Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Saturday hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his "Dimagi Naxals" remark, saying the government should focus on issues concerning the public, including unemployment, inflation and investment.

"PM Modi is using the new word 'Dimagi Naxals'. So, all of us are 'Dimagi Naxals'. Talk about what you are doing for the country. Speak about employment, inflation, investments, and giving jobs to the hands of the nation's people. Leaving all that aside, you talk about how Vande Mataram wasn't sung, " he said during an event here.
