New Delhi, Aug. 31 -- Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday visited the Nepal embassy in New Delhi and expressed solidarity with the victims of the devastating flash floods in Nepal, assuring the neighbouring country of India's continued support in this difficult hour.

The Defence Minister visited the embassy and conveyed his condolences to the families who lost their loved ones in the disaster. He also wrote a message in the condolence book, describing India and Nepal as close friends and partners who stand by each other in times of happiness and sorrow.
