Hyderabad, Sept. 19 -- Telangana BJP spokesperson NV Subhash on Saturday welcomed the Telangana High Court verdict disqualifying Khairatabad MLA Danam Nagender, describing the ruling as a victory of democracy and a setback for the Congress party over what he alleged was backdoor politics.

Speaking to ANI, Subhash criticised Nagender's move from the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) to the Congress, alleging that the MLA had switched loyalties after being elected on a BRS ticket and subsequently contested the 2024 Lok Sabha election from Secunderabad on a Congress ticket.
