Talcher, Aug. 22 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi said that Sanatan Dharma is the soul of the nation as he addressed the birth centenary celebration of Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati at Gurujang in Talcher, Angul district.

"Sanatan Dharma is not merely a system of worship; it is the soul of our nation," Majhi said.

During the event, Majhi paid tribute to Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati and described him as a great spiritual guide, social reformer, and a symbol of service, sacrifice and Sanatan Dharma.

On the occasion, Majhi said, "Swami Lakshmanananda Saraswati's Antyodaya thought current, which accorded the dignity of divine service to serving people at the farthest end of society, remains an inspiration for society even today. ...
