New Delhi, March 25 -- Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan suggested the playing XI for Punjab Kings (PBKS) for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 season, omitting the rising Australian all-rounder Cooper Connolly and suggesting that the team rotates Australian star Mitchell Owen and captain Shreyas Iyer at number three and four.
PBKS, the 2025 runners-up, will be starting off their IPL 2026 campaign against the Gujarat Titans (GT) on March 31 at New Chandigarh.
