New Delhi, Sept. 15 -- Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Delhi President Saurabh Bhardwaj on Tuesday expressed severe outrage following a hit-and-run incident involving a female sports biker on Golf Course Road in Gurugram.

Speaking to ANI, Bhardwaj described the incident as a reflection of deep-rooted societal misogyny and slammed law enforcement for failing to swiftly arrest the accused despite clear video evidence.

"The incident involving the female biker in Gurgaon, whether one calls it mere misconduct or a criminal act, reflects a certain societal mindset. It reveals a sadistic attitude and an underlying resentment towards women riding motorcycles a resentment so intense that it drives someone to attempt murder," he said.
