Amritsar, Sept. 18 -- Punjab Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav on Friday visited the residence of Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Harjit Singh in Amritsar, who was killed on patrol duty, to pay tribute to the officer.

During the visit, Yadav expressed condolences to the bereaved family.

In a post on X, the Punjab DGP said, "Today, I visited #Amritsar, paid respects at the residence of Martyr ASI Harjit Singh and stood with his bereaved family in their hour of grief.
