Madurai, March 1 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of infrastructure projects worth over Rs 4,400 crore in Madurai, aimed at enhancing connectivity, improving mobility and accelerating regional economic development.

Addressing the gathering in Madurai, PM Modi called the infrastructure projects a "proud chapter in the development journey of Tamil Nadu."
