Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 29 -- The Malankara Mar Thoma Syrian Church has extended its profound appreciation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the central government for their decisive diplomatic intervention in securing the release of three church members from a detention facility in Saudi Arabia.

In an official communication, Theodosius Mar Thoma Metropolitan, head of the Kerala-headquartered church, conveyed gratitude to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) for what he lauded as "sincere and sustained efforts" that culminated in the liberation of Dannaymon, Liju Mathew, and Mathew Cheriachen.
