North 24 Parganas, April 26 -- BJP national president Nitin Nabin on Sunday launched a sharp attack on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, accusing her of disrespecting "Maa Mati Manush" in the state. He also expressed confidence in a victory for the BJP as the second and final phase of the West Bengal polls nears.
Speaking to ANI during a roadshow here, Nabin stated that people of West Bengal are deeply connected to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
"The public of the state has made up their mind to support 'bhagwa' on May 4. The way CM Mamata Banerjee disrespected, 'Maa Mati Manush', today the people are giving them a befitting reply. PM Modi resides in the hearts of the people of the state," he said.
