Pallekele, Feb. 25 -- England became the first team to qualify for the semi-finals of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 after registering a close two-wicket win over Pakistan in Pallekele on Tuesday.

England's veteran wicketkeeper-batter Jos Buttler is struggling with the bat throughout this tournament after making just 62 runs in the competition so far, but his skipper, Harry Brook, has come out in his support after the victory over Pakistan.
