Patna, Aug. 3 -- Following the first-ever victory for Jan Suraaj Party in the Bankipur assembly bypoll, party founder and candidate Prashant Kishor sent a pointed message to the BJP central leadership over the choice of Bihar's Chief Minister, urging them to focus on the future of Bihar's youth.

Kishor credited the people of Bankipur for placing their trust in him as he won by a margin of 19,324 votes, securing 64,151 votes. The BJP's Neeraj Kumar trailed with 44,827 votes.
