"Opposition wasted assembly time, ignored drought crisis": Karnataka Agriculture Minister Narendra Swamy
Mandya, Sept. 6 -- Karnataka Agriculture Minister PM Narendra Swamy on Sunday accused opposition parties of wasting Assembly time over demands for Nagendra's resignation instead of discussing the drought situation and farmers' issues in the state.
Addressing a press conference at Halaguru in Malavalli taluk of Mandya district, Narendra Swamy said the opposition had "betrayed the public" by avoiding discussions on serious issues, including drought and groundwater depletion.
