Sriharikota, July 18 -- Skyroot Aerospace COO and co-founder Naga Bharath Daka on Saturday said the company is set to launch India's first private orbital rocket, Vikram-1, marking a historic milestone for the country's space sector.

Daka said the launch is the culmination of eight years of efforts aimed at building affordable, reliable and on-demand launch access solutions from India for satellite operators across the world.
