"Not even 2 yrs since road was built, already potholes": Congress' KL Sharma on PMGSY roads
Raebareli, Sept. 11 -- Congress MP KL Sharma has defended Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi's concerns over the condition of roads constructed under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) in Raebareli, saying potholes had appeared even though it had not been two years since the road was built.
Speaking to reporters about the issue raised by Rahul Gandhi before the district administration and concerned departments, Amethi MP Sharma said the contractor is required to maintain a PMGSY road for five years under the rules.
