Mumbai, April 17 -- Mumbai Indians (MI) head coach Mahela Jayawardene said that the team's poor form in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 season is not because of an individual, but everyone involved in the setup. The Hardik Pandya-led team faced their fourth consecutive loss in the ongoing season, going down to Punjab Kings (PBKS) by seven wickets on Thursday.
While MI opened their IPL 2026 campaign with a six-wicket win over Kolkata Knight Riders, they have faced losses against Delhi Capitals (DC), Rajasthan Royals (RR), Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and now PBKS.
