New Delhi, Aug. 31 -- Congress leader Pawan Khera on Monday hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his remarks on India's 7.8 per cent GDP growth in the first quarter of the 2026-27 fiscal year, questioning whether the economic growth was translating into jobs and opportunities for the country's youth.

Responding to the Prime Minister's post on X, Khera said that one quarter of 7.8 per cent growth cannot be described as an "economic spring".

"One quarter of 7.8% growth is not an economic spring," Khera said in a post on X.
