Vijayawada, April 15 -- Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Andhra Pradesh president Palla Srinivasa Rao slammed the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP)'s claims of building Amaravati as the state capital for Rs 2 lakh crores, saying that Amaravati is a "self-sustainable model."

Speaking to ANI, Rao accused YSRCP of creating confusion among the investors.

He said, "The YCP leaders are claiming that Amaravati needs Rs 2 lakh crores for construction. Amaravati is a self-sustainable model. Never believe the words of YCP leaders. They are using their social media handles and are constantly changing their stance. They are creating some confusion among the investors, which is not good for the state, and it is not good for the Telugu people."
