New Delhi, Oct. 14 -- Former Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan on Wednesday said that the organisers of the World T20 Continent Cup had used his name as a participant without his permission, adding that his team would take appropriate legal steps to address the matter.

In an X post on Thursday, Dhawan alleged that the organisers had used his name without his knowledge or permission and said his team would take legal action, urging the media and fans not to rely on "unauthorised announcements."
