New Delhi, Aug. 26 -- Delhi Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) president Saurabh Bharadwaj criticised the Delhi Lakshmi Yojana lauched by CM Rekha Gupta on Wednesday, claiming that most women in the national capital have been excluded from the scheme.

Speaking to ANI on the scheme, Bharadwaj said, "People believed that if the BJP had promised, every woman in Delhi would receive Rs.2,500 per month, but most women have been excluded from this scheme. The rules within this scheme are so strict that almost no one will benefit from it."

He further alleged, "That's why the government is spending more money on publicity."
