Chennai, May 30 -- Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) spokesperson TKS Elangovan on Saturday slammed the Tamil Nadu government over the law and order situation in the state, citing incidents including the murder of a minor in Coimbatore and alleging an increase in criminal activities after the new government came to power.

Speaking to ANI here, Elangovan said the administration was failing to adequately address public safety concerns and called for measures to strengthen policing.
