New Delhi, May 19 -- Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Member of Parliament Manoj Kumar Jha on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on the Central government over the recent spike in petrol and diesel prices, stating that essential commodities have gone completely out of the common man's reach due to relentless inflation.

Speaking to ANI, the RJD leader dismissed the government's justification for the price hike, accusing the administration of minimising a major economic burden on citizens.
